Arriving in an English-speaking country is like immersing yourself in a continuous listening, so we are going to try to recreate this feeling without having to take a plane.

For this purpose we suggest watch the English version of a TV show, here you have a few options:


The following site offers you free and legally TV shows online, these TV shows are a bit old but they are fun though.

Other option is to watch a Ted Talk.

Is good to start to play the video with English subtitles, to listen carefully and to write down the words that you don´t get or expressions you don´t know yet. For this Google Translate or Linguee (which I prefer when I am looking for the meaning of some utterances and idioms) are really helpful to find the meaning of these expressions.
